Helping Innovators

We continue to bring innovative products in the consumer, medical, and industrial spaces to market. We’ve added new names and programs to the list of innovations we support.

This past year, we’re grateful to be involved with a few projects like these:

  • Products that are changing healthcare with patient monitoring through remote sensors
  • Wearable sensors to enhance motion capture and virtual reality
  • Smart regulators to efficiently manage energy consumption on boats and RVs

In addition, we celebrated a huge milestone in July of shipping 1 million units of a key customer’s product!

Manufacturing Facility Upgrades

Back in 2020, we remodeled the lobby and offices in our China manufacturing facility. This past year, we invested in refreshing the building where production occurs:

  • New paint throughout
  • Upgraded HVAC, plumbing, and lighting
  • Created new offices and meeting spaces

Mexico Manufacturing Progress

Bringing our new Tijuana, MX facility on board was a priority for the year. We’ve accomplished so much within the last 12 months:

We look forward to being in full production in 2024!

Team Updates

It’s been an exciting year of growth with new faces and new roles in each of our global locations:

  • Relocated our VP of Operations from Hong Kong to our headquarters in the U.S.
  • Hired our Operations Manager to oversee the Mexico facility and launch
  • Expanded our U.S. engineering team including a new Director of Engineering
  • New sales and technical support within Europe
  • Brought on key personnel to support the facility, manufacturing, and processes at our new Mexico manufacturing location

Supporting U-Go

SEACOMP is helping support U-Go to improve quality education for women. U-Go is a nonprofit organization that gives financial scholarships to women in low-income countries to go to university. SEACOMP’s first contribution will help just over 12 girls to attend university for 1 year.

We had the opportunity to meet and hear from the CEO and founder of U-Go, John Wood. He visited the Carlsbad office in August and shared his incredible story on how he founded U-Go. We also learned about the difficulties young women in low-income countries face (including paying to attend university), and how educated women can help lift a family and community out of poverty. We are excited for 2024 as we finish out our Mexico manufacturing facility, grow our team, and continue to support our customers with their latest innovations!
